History

When Homer was put forward to apply to the Kevät Kenttä Nuclear Power Plant, he had a Zoom interview with Onni Korhonen. Korhonen was in an interview with Dr. Spivak at the time but asked her to leave the call so he could quickly interview Homer, not expecting the interview to last very long. However, with Professor Frink coaching Homer through the interview, he impressed Korhonen and got the job.

Korhonen showed Homer around the power plant on his first day and properly introduced him to Dr. Spivak, who was given a job as Homer's assistant. A few days later, Homer was invited to Korhonen's office, where he was invited along to the Power Plant's ski trip at Yikes Peak Ski Lodge. At this point, Professor Frink had stopped coaching Homer through his job, so Homer was without his help. At the ski lodge, Korhonen told Homer that they needed to run an efficiency analysis on the turbines. However, without Frink's help, Homer was unable to answer him. Instead, Frink's budgie was talking into the earpiece, leading Homer to call Korhonen a "pretty boy" and then ask him for a cracker.

After Dr. Spivak convinced Marge to get Homer to admit to being a fraud, Homer told all the employees, including Onni Korhonen. Homer told Korhonen that he couldn't work for him another day before he started sliding down the mountain toward a cliff. Homer asked Korhonen if he still had health insurance, but Korhonen told Homer it expired one minute ago.
