The Gummi Venus de Milo salesman was a representative at the Jolly Gummibears exhibit during the Candy Industry Trade Show.

History

Speaking with a German accent, he presented the "Gummi Venus de Milo," describing it as the rarest gummy candy ever created and claiming it had been carved by gummy artisans who worked exclusively in the medium of gummy candy. Displayed inside a glass case on a red pillow, the confection was treated as a valuable work of art. After Homer Simpson smashed the display case and stole the sculpture, the representative shouted "Halt, halt!" and joined the pursuit as security alarms sounded throughout the convention hall.
