History
Channel 3 was seen reporting the sighting of Bigfoot in Springfield National Forest,[1] the capture of Lucille Botzcowski,[2] coverage of the Simpson estate following Homer Simpson's alleged sexual assault of Ashley Grant,[3] and the birth of nonuplets in Shelbyville.[4]
Channel 3 is one of the channels that's locked out at Flanders' house.[5]
Channel 3 remained on the air until the Springfield Air Show crisis, when Sideshow Bob threatened to detonate a stolen nuclear weapon unless television was abolished. As city officials complied with his demands, Channel 3 was among the local broadcasters ordered to cease transmissions along with the rest of Springfield's television stations.[6]
