Carnac the Magnificent was a recurring comedic role played by Johnny Carson on The Tonight Show.

History

After being replaced by The Be Sharps, Chief Wiggum was watching The Tonight Show when Johnny Carson, characterized as Carnac the Magnificent, named three Castaways: Gilligan, the Skipper, and Chief Wiggum. Angered, he shot at the television.
