Cultural references

• The title is a wordplay on The Simpsons and the word "serf".
• Victarion's Secret is a reference to Victoria's Secret.
• The Smurfs appear in Krusty's pants, as a sexual deseas, and passes them to other people.
• Dr. Hibbert is selling a red red potion (restores health) for 20 rupees, a green potion (restores magic) for 30 rupees, and a blue potion (restores both) for 100 rupees. This are all references to The Legend of Zelda game series. The potions and their effect reflect the ones in all the games. Rupee is the currency in almost all of the games.
• Aslan from The Chronicles of Narnia appears.
• Peter Jackson and his The Hobbit trilogy are referenced in a dinner ticket, while 3 Hobbits are in a cage to be eaten.
• Chalmers references Magic: The Gathering.
