Homer was given the Denver Broncos after working for Globex Corp. in Cypress Creek. At the end of You Only Move Twice, Hank Scorpio gives the team to Homer as gift for helping with his evil plans, though Homer was somewhat annoyed that he didn't get the Dallas Cowboys like he wanted.
