The Ayn Rand School for Tots is a daycare that Maggie was sent to while Marge was rehearsing for a play. According to the boastful owner of the school, it is the only daycare in Springfield not currently under investigation by the state.
The workings of the school are modeled after the philosophies of Ayn Rand, and toddlers are encouraged "to develop the bottle within." Posters referring to Rand's ideas are hung throughout the nursery, including "A is A" and "Helping is Futile."
