The Springfield Monorail was a short lived transport system for Springfield. The option took over Marge Simpsons option to use the $3,000,000 to fix Main St. Homer Simpson was the conductor of the Monorail with Bart Simpson and a cabnet full of opossums (calling the big one Bitey). The Monorail suffed a made-on-purpose mechanical failure and went at high speed. The operators were unable to shut down the power as it was solar powered. Homer used the M on the name as an anchor, the M caught the big dounut on top of a dounut store and the Monorail came to a hault. The Monorail was then demolished.
