The Simpsons: Kids in the Mall is a comic story featured in Simpsons Illustrated #9.

Plot

The Simpson family eating breakfast and Lisa is sad, for her family can't afford to buy the ticket to the concert with Biff Westwood. Homer take then Bart and Lisa to the Springfield Mall for buying a birthday present to Patty and Selma.

After they bought the gift in the Eleanor Rigby's runs Homer to the Soft `N 'Doughy and leaving Bart and Lisa alone. Bart wants to go to Noiseland but Lisa discovers that Westwood will visit the store Cee-Dee Cauldron in the mall. Lisa and Bart go to the crowd and start waiting on Westwood, and after two hours without Westwood has coming start the crowd becomes angry and Westwood's manager tries to calm them down.

To get away as fast as possible to the arcade dress Bart himself out to Westwood, where the girls see him they starts chasing him and rips of his shorts. When Lisa discovering at Bart was Westwood comes his manager and thanks Bart for the stunt trick for it saved his skin. The manager gives Bart and Lisa two tickets to tonight's concert as a thanks. During the concert tells Lisa that she will always remember what Bart did to her, Bart asks her not to remind him of what he had done.
