Dennis is a bellhop that works at the Best Western in Shelbyville. Sideshow Bob takes his anger out on him when he first doesn't get a room with a fireplace. Sideshow Bob wanted the fireplace in order to carry out his plan to murder Selma, and the hotel's mismanagement of the reservation almost destroyed Bob's plan.
