Frank Grimes
Frank "Grimey" Grimes was an employee of the Springfield Nuclear Power Plant and the self-important enemy of Homer. He is also short-tempered, grumpy, and easily frustrated. Frank kind of served as Homer's 2nd boss and nemesis.
As a young boy, Frank was abandoned by his parents on the roadside. This forced him to fend for himself, which he did by getting a job as a delivery boy. On his 18th birthday, he was severely injured in a silo explosion.
He has black hair. He is 35 years old. He has a son named Frank Grimes, Jr.. His first and last appearance was in "Homer's Enemy." He wears a short-sleeved suit. He also wears large glasses.
One fact about Frank, that was not generally known was that he enjoyed hiring prostitutes. We know this, because his son, Frank Grimes, Jr., revealed in a much later episode that his father enjoyed "hiring his hookers". One such woman became the mother of his son, who later tried to avenge his father's death by killing Homer, but ultimately failed.
Frank received a degree in nuclear physics from a correspondence college. Shortly after this, he was featured in an episode of Kent's, "Kent's People." Mr. Burns saw the report and insisted that Frank will be hired to work at the Power Plant. When he arrived at work, he took a dislike to Homer. After Homer inadvertently caused Frank to be blamed for an accident involving spilled acid, Frank told Homer that they would be mortal enemies from that point on. Homer tried to patch things up by inviting Frank to dinner at his house, but after Frank saw that the Simpson family and their home, he accused Homer of being a "total fraud", who leeched off hard-working people, like him. He is voiced by Hank Azaria.

In an effort to prove that Homer was a buffoon, Frank tricked Homer into a nuclear power plant model-building contest for children, but when Homer won the contest, Frank threw a fit. He ran through the plant, angrily impersonating Homer, and ultimately grabbed hold of some high-voltage power cables, saying, "I don't need safety gloves, 'cause I'm Homer Simp--" before being killed. Known to Homer as "Frank Grimes, or Grimey, as he LIKED to be called (which he actually hated)."
Frank's gravestone makes a split-second appearance in the new revised-for-HDTV opening title card.
