- Milhouse is dressed as Ash Ketchum with Pikachu from Pokémon.
- Lenny is dressed as Ash Williams from the Evil Dead franchise. He tells Milhouse, "My Ash can kick your Ash's... um... Ash!"
- Nelson is dressed as Orion from DC Comics. He mentions that the character was created by Jack Kirby.
- Ralph is dressed as a Green Lantern from DC Comics.
- Carl is dressed as Blacula.
- Lisa is dressed as Robin from DC Comics.
- Bart is dressed as Grendel from Beowulf.
- Mr. Burns and Satan play Battleship.
