Mav is a professional surfer who, along with his wife, Portia, became the guardians of Bart, Lisa, and Maggie.

History

When Homer and Marge were looking for guardians, just in case anything happened to them, they chose Mav and Portia.

When Bart's temporary tattoo washed off in the sea, Mav picked it up and stuck it on his arm, telling the other surfer to check out his gnarly new tattoo.
