Channel 6 Wastelanders are a bowling team that consists of television personalities.

The Channel 6 Wastelanders participated in the Springfield bowling league alongside teams such as the Pin Pals and the Holy Rollers. The team consisted of television personalities including Krusty the Clown, Kent Brockman, Bumblebee Man, and Arnie Pye. They competed wearing matching bowling shirts representing their news station.[1]

Behind the Laughter[edit]
The team name is a reference to a 1961 speech by FCC Chairman Newton N. Minow in which he described television as a "vast wasteland."
