The Korean monk is a Buddhist monk from South Korea. He works at the Jogyesa Temple.

History

When the Simpsons went to the Jogysea Temple, the monks were surprised at how quickly Homer achieved zen. The first monk said it was amazing while the second monk said that Homer was like the reincarnation of the Buddha. When Homer removed his shirt, the first monk said that Homer was the Buddha. The second monk then told the first that he felt bad that he had stolen Homer's shoes.
