Hobbs is a manager for Santa's Village.

History

Harper and Hobbs scouted Sideshow Bob to play Santa Claus at Santa's Village because of his voice and the way he spoke. They went to the Abandoned Lighthouse, where Bob lived, and Bob initially thought they were there to arrest him, taking up position at the top of the lighthouse with a gun. Hobbs was impressed by Bob's mellifluous baritone voice and said he'd be perfect for the role.

Later, when the Simpson family confronted Sideshow Bob, Hobbs turned up to tell them that photos with Santa were $40.
