"The Flandshees of Innersimpson" is the fifteenth episode of season 36 of The Simpsons and the seven hundred eighty-third episode overall. It originally aired on March 30, 2025. The episode was written by Dan Vebber and directed by Chris Clements. It guest stars Jane Kaczmarek as Judge Harm, Rachel Bloom as Annette, and Fiona Shaw as Mrs McCormick.
Synopsis
- "Bart dips his toe into the world of celebrity DJ-ing, and Homer finally pushes Flanders too far."
Plot
The Simpson family is on a trip and Marge and Homer notice all the weird names on billboards on the road, and Lisa points out that they're all DJs and how they all make a fortune and can buy residencies and mansions to their family. Later that night, Homer wakes Bart up to start his DJ carreer. This wakes up both Marge and Maggie and Homer creates a box so Maggie can sleep, but Marge protests that he can't DJ in their basement, so Bart starts DJing on the treehouse.
During the party Ned intervenes asking them to quiet it down, to which Homer declines, and Bart just records Ned's phrase and adds it to the mix. The next morning, Ned has bought noise-cancelling headphones for him and the kids, but Homer steals them, while Mrs McCormick warns Homer that dark times shall come to Evergreen Terrace before the end of the year. At the next night's party, Bart doesn't drop the beat and the next morning the whole backyard is destroyed.
