Nevada is one of the 50 states in the US. Its capital is Carson City and largest city is Las Vegas.
History[edit]
The Simpsons watch Troy McClure host the Miss American Girl Pageant which was live from Laughlin, Nevada.[1]
Lisa needed to go as a state for her school's Geography Pageant. Marge suggested Nevada, as they had leaglized gambling in Springfield. Lisa objected, though, as Nevada made her butt look big.[2]
Homer took Ned to Las Vegas in order to show him how to live. During this trip, both men marry two Nero's Palace waitresses after getting drunk.[3]
After getting run out of Florida, the Simpson family was trying to decide on where to go for their next vacation. They were looking at a map of the US that had most of states crossed out, which were apparently all the states that the Simpsons were no longer allowed to enter.[4]
In a telephone message, Homer states that he and Bart were sent to the Nevada State Prison after getting into a fight with a pit boss in Las Vegas and need bail money.[5]
