King Lear was king of Britain. He appears in a school play at the Springfield Elementary about William Shakespeare.

History

One time when King Lear was bored, he played the game "Who loves Daddy Best?" and his daughter Cordelia lost. He forced her to visit the banishment room, which meant she was thrown out of the castle. One week later, he aged forty years, and his son, Regan, was angry at King Lear. He realized he missed his daughter and found her dead outside the castle. Romeo then explained to him that she had only faked her death, just as she had done for him to get attention. Cordelia woke up when the rage in Romeo and King Lear left her.
