New Jersey is one of the 50 states in the US. Its capital city is Trenton and its most populous city is Newark.
History
Leon Kompowski came from Paterson, a town in New Jersey.[1]
New Jersey was seen on a map when other contestants entering an essay competition were seen[2]
After getting run out of Florida, the Simpson family was trying to decide on where to go for their next vacation. They were looking at a map of the US that had most of states crossed out, which were apparently all the states that the Simpsons were no longer allowed to enter, which includes New Jersey.[3]
Homer drives with Bart to New Jersey to break into the Thomas Edison Museum.[4]
