Diz-Nee-Land

Dizz-Nee Land is a popular amusement park in Springfield. Though not affiliated with Disneyland, Disney World, or any other enterprise of the Walt Disney Company, Diz-Nee does have many rides and attractions for the whole family. However, the park is filled with creepy, disturbingly derivative costumed characters such as Mitchy Mouse, Danny Duck, and Goophee the Mandog, as well as several lawyers patrolling the area.

Diz-Nee was originally a swamp. An ex-World War II veteren and movie mogul built a theme park over the swamp. The park eventually became a self-sufficient community called the Experimental Prototype Community of Tomorrow (E.P.C.O.T.). After the founder died E.P.C.O.T. slowly fell into disrepair,but 2 sports facilities managed to remain as a reminder of the city's existance. One of them is an arena that is home of the National Hockey League's Ducks (formally the [Mighty Ducks http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anaheim_Ducks]). The other is a baseball stadium that is home to the [ Angles http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Los_Angeles_Angels_of_Anaheim ].
