• The scene where the other (other be-ing apart from homer) baby-help places have to close down is a parody of Titanic
• During the scene where Marge chases the school bus, Milhouse says, "It's like Speed 2! Only with a bus instead of a boat!", off-handedly summarizing the plot of the original film, Speed.

Goofs

• In the chase scene, Milhouse is sitting on the left side (our view), however after Otto reverses to pick up the new kid, Milhouse is on the right side. I don't mean to be rude but have you ever considered that he might be in a differant place in he world after he was knocked off his seat!
