Mort Hopper is a comic writer.

History

Mort Hopper wrote the Harvest of Fear #3 story "A Fine Broth of a Boy". After the comic was published, Mort went to find every issue of the comic in existence and cut the final page out so nobody could ever read it.

When Bart found that the final page of his copy of Harvest of Fear #3 was missing, he went to see Mort Hopper to ask what happened in the comic. Mort relented and invited Bart into his house to explain what happened on the final page. He told Bart that it was just a normal monster and that there was nothing special about it. When Bart asked why he went through the trouble of cutting the page out, Mort told him that it was to lure brats like him to his house to ask how it ended. Mort then seemingly transformed into a monster and attacked Bart, although it is unknown what happened exactly because the final page was missing.
