The Simpsons Comics Internationale! is a comic story first printed in Simpsons Comics #131.

Synopsis

Bongo Comics intern Jake reveals three different language versions of Simpsons Comics: one set in Japan, one set in Belgium, and one set in Mexico.

Plot

Bongo Comics intern Jake greets the readers at Warehouse One of Matt Groening's comic book collection. He tells the readers that he's going to be their guide to the world of comics from other lands, strange places where comics are read backwards and upside down. He shows off a German issue of Süperman, where Superman is married to Lois Lane, Lana Lang, and Xena, and an Italian issue of Pe Quenó LuLu, where Little Lulu is a divorce lawyer. He then shows off Japan's Laughing Laughing Everyone is Laughing comic, which is a three-thousand-page weekly manga with over one hundred million readers.

Too Crazy Juvenile Prankster: Bartomu!

Bartomu Simpson is playing baseball for the Li'l Ninjas when he hits the ball through the window of the commentators' booth, hitting Kent Brockman in the face. Milhouse and Bartomu both score, with Bartomu winning the game. As the team celebrates, Milhouse is sad because his parents had to commit seppuku rather than face the shame of divorce. Bartomu declares his team the baseball champions of the universe, but he is interrupted by a loud voice from Yoshiberra, the Home-Run King of the Red Dimension Nine. He challenges Bartomu to take his title from him.

Bartomu accepts the challenge and attacks Yoshiberra. Meanwhile, Homer and Marge watch on in shock, only for Homer to start fighting with himself in another panel of the manga. Bartomu hits Yoshiberra with his irradiated gaze, but Yoshiberra isn't affected by it. He then swings his spiked bat at Bartomu, crushing him to death. As Yoshiberra celebrates his victory, Lisayama Simpson attacks him with a yo-yo.

Jake interrupts the comic there, saying that he can only show the readers a sample from it. He tells the readers that he's going to take them to the land that gave us the sprout and the waffle, Belgium. He then shows off the next comic, [[Les Schtroumphsons ({{{2}}})|Les Schtroumphsons]].

Les Schtroumphsons

Henri Schtroumphson is a door-to-door waffle salesman working for Baron von Burnswaffle. However, customers don't want his waffles because they speak different languages from Henri and don't understand him, and some just don't know what waffles are. Every time Henri fails to make a sale, the porch collapses underneath him. When Henri goes back to Burnswaffle, his boss accuses him of eating the goods, which Henri denies doing. Burnswaffle tells Henri that if another porch collapses under him, he will be fired. Burnswaffle then sends Henri through a trap door into the water below.

At dinner, the family discusses the porch collapses. Bartbart and Lislis think that there's a mystery to be solved, so they decide to gather their gang to figure out why the porches are collapsing. The next day, Henri once again tries to sell waffles, and Bartbart and Lislis follow him. While Professor Frinkulus and Captain McCallister argue over the best way to solve the mystery, Santy suggests just following Henri to see what happens. When Henri begins to get nervous, he comes close to eating a waffle because he gets hungry when nervous. However, he resists the temptation as it's against his job's code. Henri then eats French fries off the ground instead.

Henri arrives at Jean-Claude Van Damme's house to sell waffles. Bartbart, Lislis, and the gang are close behind him when they see Snerfs dismantling the porch. The Snerfs realize that they've been caught and flee, but Santy manages to catch one of them. Everyone goes back to Burnswaffle's castle where Burnswaffle tells them that Snerfs have been clogging up his agricultural equipment for months while clearing forests. Jean-Claude Van Damme buys up all of Henri's waffles and Burnswaffle promotes Henri to regional waffle marshal for the north provinces.

After this story, Jake says that the Belgians were geniuses. He then says that he'll take the readers south of the border and shows off a Mexican comic, Comic-No Gigante!.

Los Simpsons in Pardon My Border

In Mexico, Bartito Simpson is about to stab a cake, but Margarita Simpson stops him and tells him that it's for the Festival of the Dead tomorrow. Bartito asks what's for dinner, and Margarita says that it's burritos, which annoys Bartito as they always have burritos. Lisa tells Margarita that there's something on television about Homero's job, and Bumblebee Man announces that the pencil factory Homero works at was outsourcing all its jobs to Senegal, meaning Homero lost his job. A few minutes later, Margarita goes to talk to Father Ned through the fence, and Ned tells Margarita that he loves her, and Margarita rejects him.

Homero arrives home from work looking sad about the loss of his job. They then hear bad Spanish coming from outside and open the door to find The Rich Texan driving through the neighborhood announcing that there are plenty of jobs in his factories in the USA. He tells anyone interested to hop on a bus to the border, which the Simpsons decide to do. However, when Homero tries to get on, Otto tells him that the cover story for the bus is that they're returning from a school trip, and Homero doesn't fit as a student because he's too old, and they have too many teachers already. Homero quickly puts on a cheerleader outfit and boards the bus to the border. When the bus arrives, they are stopped by Chief Wiggum, Lou, and Eddie, who are on border patrol. However, they let the bus through.

Jake tells the readers that that concludes the stories and says that he hopes the readers enjoyed them. Matt Groening interrupts Jake, demanding his latte. Jake says that it's coming.
