Dialogue
Pt. 1
After tapping on Puritan Lovejoy's exclamation mark
I am returned, family, and I find our zeal for the Lord…wanting!
Mom, what's with Dad, and why is he still in his pilgrim LARP costume?
The LARPing might have gone to his head a little.
Henceforth we shall prove our humility to the Lord by taking cold baths. And we shall partake in productive and godly activities every morning, like picking fresh vegetables and preparing them for breakfast.
And by "we shall", I mean "you shall".
Okay, it might have gone to his head a lot.

Pt. 2
After tapping on Puritan Lovejoy's exclamation mark
In response to the plague of sin and wickedness that besets our town, we shall henceforth be implementing new church regulations.
Why is he dressed like that and talking like that? Is this LARPing?
All religion is LARPing.
You've been waiting a long time to say that, haven't you?
Oh, yeah.
As I was saying! Henceforth sinners shall wear signs stating their sin.
Mine says, "Thou Shalt Not Covet Thy Neighbor's Wi-Fi."
I really don't mind.
Mine says, "Thou Shalt Not Condescend." Spelled wrong, of course.
Mine says, "Thou Shalt Not Bear Store-Bought Cookies to a Bake Sale." I thought it was allowed! Everyone does it now!
That doesn't make it right.
Mine just says, "Bad Boy." Works for me.
Mine says, "Thou Shalt Honor Thy Father's Rule Against Touching His Trains."
Clearly this flock requires drastic measures to achieve a state of righteousness. Until further notice, sermons shall be longer. I think three hours should do it.
But…but…lunch!
You'll just have to pray the hunger away until I'm finished.

Pt. 3
After tapping on Puritan Lovejoy's exclamation mark
I am disappointed that our congregation isn't as devout as one who loves the Lord might hope, so henceforth all hymns shall be sung in the original Old English, just like Jesus sang them.
Um, I don't think—
Furthermore, beginning this week, the elect shall receive preferential parking spots next to the church.
Ooh, I want one of those! How do I become elect? Can I vote for myself?
Homer Simpson, it would be easier for a camel to pass through the eye of a needle than for you to get one of these parking spaces.
So…if I lose weight I get a parking spot?

Homer Simpson, you shall park at the very back of the parking lot, and also, here's your new sin sign.
"Thou Shalt Not Double Park."
Uh, say, Reverend Lovejoy, how many more changes are you planning to make?
Just like the fires of Hades waiting for most of you, I'm just getting warmed up!
Are you talking about having a church barbecue?

Pt. 4
After tapping on Puritan Lovejoy's exclamation mark
I can see last week's sermon did little good, as evidenced by your prideful attire. Why, some of you are wearing more than two colors at the same time!
That's it! I'm gonna—
Hold on, Homer! It may be that only divine intervention can get us out of this.
What kind of blasphemous ballyhoo is this?
I'm sorry, Reverend, but I'm going to have to shock you back to your senses through interpretive dance! As "David danced before the Lord with all his might, clad in a linen ephod."
Boy, I hope "ephod" isn't Bible-talk for "loincloth".
Task: "Make Homer Shout "Let My People Go!"". The job takes place at the First Church of Springfield and takes 4 hours. Task: "Make Ned Shake It for the Lord". Thank you, Ned! I feel like my old self again now.
Yeah, well, we're not entirely convinced, so we're implementing a fifty-nine-minute Sermon Clock.
And here's your sin sign.
"Thou Shalt Not Go Full Puritan."
