While driving to church the kids anger their parents (mostly Homer) by converting to paganism. But then when Bart, Lisa, and Maggie wear leaves (most likely a reference to Bart of the Jungle), the children hide from Homer in a church during sermon.

• This is the first instance of Bart referring to his father as "Homer".
• When Bart, Lisa and Maggie are wearing leaves, it makes a reference to Bart of the Jungle but with ties.
