The Falcon and the D'ohman is the first episode of The Simpsons' twenty-third season, which premiered September 25, 2011 on Fox. Special guest voices are Kiefer Sutherland as Wayne Slater, a Jack Bauer-like character arriving in Springfield; and Tom Colicchio as himself.
Synopsis
Homer befriends Wayne Slater, a reserved security guard recently hired by the nuclear power plant. Plagued by violent flashbacks from his past as a CIA agent, he must overcome his tortured nightmares to save Homer from a Ukranian terrorist. But during a robbery at Moe's Tavern by Snake, he reveals his past as an agent to Homer and his friends. Meanwhile, Marge fantasizes about being a contestant on “Top Chef” hosted by Tom Colicchio (guest voicing as himself). The future of Ned Flanders's and Edna Krabappel's relationship is revealed: the couple are staying together.
