Sir Ridley Scott is an English film producer and director.

History

After Homer and Lisa went to The Copy Jalopy to make copies of fliers exposing Jebediah Springfield as a fraud, they encountered the Comic Book Guy, who was there making a copy of a screenplay he had written. He mistakenly thought Homer was trying to steal his idea. He asked Homer if he was Ridley Scott or James Cameron and warned him that, if a movie about computers threatening personal liberties ever appeared, he would know Homer had stolen his idea. Homer explained that he was only waiting for his child. However, afterward, Homer privately thought to himself: “Mental note: Steal his idea.”

After the Oscars, Ricky Gervais goes to a seat filler, thinking he is Sir Ridley, and became emotional, trying to get into his next film. The seat filler listened to him, before revealing that he is actually a seat filler.
