Channel 3 was seen reporting the sighting of Bigfoot in Springfield National Forest, the capture of Lucille Botzcowski, coverage of the Simpson estate following Homer Simpson's alleged sexual assault of Ashley Grant, and the birth of nonuplets in Shelbyville.

Channel 3 is one of the channels that's locked out at Flanders' house.

Channel 3 remained on the air until the Springfield Air Show crisis, when Sideshow Bob threatened to detonate a stolen nuclear weapon unless television was abolished. As city officials complied with his demands, Channel 3 was among the local broadcasters ordered to cease transmissions along with the rest of Springfield's television stations.
