Synopsis
- Grampa and Jasper attend Collectorama, where they become angry at the high prices of toys and merchandise that were cheap when they were young.
Plot
Grampa and Jasper are walking down the street when Jasper hears some commotion down the block, so he and Grampa go to see what it is. They arrive at the Springfield Municipal Auditorium and find that the Collectorama nostalgia convention is taking place, so they decide to go in and see what it's about. Grampa immediately becomes angry when he sees all the stalls selling old toys for high prices. Grampa sees a Lance Murdock Stunt Suicycle toy for $300 and becomes angry, so Jasper drags him away. Grampa also becomes angry at Duff Beer signs and Malibu Stacy dolls being sold. Grampa and Jasper go from stall to stall, annoying everybody running them. Eventually, the convention's manager throws the two of them out.
Later, at The Android's Dungeon, Comic Book Guy shows Bart a notice about his Grampa being kicked out of the convention, which impresses Bart. Back at the Retirement Castle, Grampa says that he can't get over the gullible people using their life savings for collections of geegaws and thingamabobbers, but says that his own collection of beef jerkies of the world is a good hobby.
