The United States Bill of Rights is the first ten amendments to the U.S. Constitution, guaranteeing fundamental rights and freedoms such as speech, religion, and due process.

History

During the final interview round of the Little Miss Springfield Pageant, host Krusty the Clown asked contestant Amber Dempsey whether the Bill of Rights was a good thing or a bad thing. After pausing briefly, Dempsey answered that it was a good thing, drawing warm applause from the judges and audience and helping reinforce her image as the pageant favorite.[1]

"Homer's Revenge List" included the Bill of Rights.[2]

In the Fox News Yule Log, several symbolic items were shown burning in the fireplace, including a photograph of John F. Kennedy, the Bill of Rights, and the Constitution of the United States, as well as books such as It Takes a Village by Hillary Clinton, Emily Post's Book of Etiquette by Emily Post, The Origin of Species by Charles Darwin, and Silent Spring by Rachel Carson.[3]

Lisa proposed visiting the Smithsonian traveling exhibit, which included both real and non-real-world exhibitions of the institute, including the Bill of Rights. While there, Homer accidentally destroyed it and was forced to repay the damage.[4]

Prisoners at the Ronald Reagan Reeducation Center were subjected to harsh conditions, routine punishment, and re-education programs that included a cartoon depicting the Bill of Rights as an anthropomorphic drunken document.[5]
