- At the begging of the flashback, it shows the date of October 7, 1993, which is the date the original "Cape Feare" episode was premiered.
- The flashback was presented in 4:3 aspect ratio, but it was later changed to 16:9 (removing vertical black bars) when it presents events that never happened in the original episode.
