Character Information
|
Harry "Winks" Winkler once hired Lionel Hutz and won $12,500.
History
For 17 years Harry worked as a nightduty valve reamer at the Springfield Nuclear Power Plant, but after an accident involving a whipped-cocoa vending machine in the company cafeteria Harry was forced into early retirement. He was nearly whipped to a pulp before the 911 rescue team could remove him. The result was the flamboyant facial tick that has since become his signature. He took the settlement money and ran. Two years ago he started his first Harry's Cluck'n'Suds on F Street in Springfield with his ex-wife Patsy in a bathing suit and high-heels serving up Cajun-style chicken wings. Soon after his initial success came bigger and better washers and more Cluck'n'Suds outlets.
He owns a 14,00 square-foot laundromat which is recently opened on Canal Street in Capital City. The laundromat, Harry's Cluck'n'Suds is the flagship of Harry Winkler's five-store chain of innovative laundromats mixes heavy-duty, coin-operated washing facilities which spicy chicken, wings, beer and scantly clad showgirls. Lines of people with soiled laundry are seen trailing around the block every evening waiting to get inside.
