Marcel is a monkey from TV show Friends.

History

In "...Six Degrees of Homer Simpson ...sort of!" Homer connected U2 to Marcel. He did this through:

1. "I spoke at a U2 concert when I ran for the office of Springfield Sanitation Commissioner."
2. "U2 is from Ireland."
3. "Ireland is famous for exporting Lucky Charms cereal..."
4. "...which are hoarderd by a leprechaun, similar to the one from Leprechaun: The Movie"
5. "Leprechaun: The Movie starred Jennifer Aniston."
6. "Jennifer Aniston co-starred in Friends with Marcel the monkey."

Behind the Laughter

Simpsons voice actors Harry Shearer, Hank Azaria and Dan Castellaneta have all guest stared in episodes involving Marcel including his first and last appearances "The One With The Monkey" and "The One After The Superbowl".
