Cultural references

• The episode title parodies the film Catch Me if You Can, along with the musical montage.
• Marge says that Dayton has the Wright-Patterson Air Force Base and a Zipper Museum, featuring a zipper from every James Bond.
• Lackluster Video is a parody of Blockbuster LLC.
• Outside Lackluster Video a poster said that if the movie doesn't star Sandra Bullock, your rental is free.
• When Bart sneaked into the adult section at the Lackluster Video he saw they had a section with "Unfunny Woody Allen".
• Moe rented out the TV miniseries Brideshead Revisited.

Goofs

• When the car stops at Miami Beach, the sound of the car screeching is slightly out-of-sync.
• After Bart lies to Marge about Lisa making him switch the channel, Lisa's necklace turns red when the scene zooms in on her.
