"Labor Pains" is the fifth episode of season 25. It was written by the late Don Payne and Mitchell H. Glazer.[1][2] The episode was aired on November 17, 2013[3], the show's timeslot later postponed an hour[4] in order for FOX to broadcast the premiere of "Almost Human".[5]
Synopsis
Poker night at Carl's takes an unexpected turn when Homer ends up helping a young woman named Gretchen deliver a baby in the elevator. But when Homer starts helping out more and more, it seems he's putting Homer Jr., the baby, before his own children, and his own family. Meanwhile, Lisa gets involved in the world of cheerleading when she and the Springfield Atoms cheerleaders start campaigning for better pay.
