George is the husband of Martha.
History
After Homer had lost his driving license he accidentally beat George with a stick and George got mad at Homer. His wife Martha tried to get him to calm down but he replied that he would get a divorce, which made Martha happy.
George was seen outside Krusty Burger when the Dome was lowered, and was part of the angry mob that stormed the Simpson home.[1]
