History

When Homer saw a man sleep in a dumpster he said that he is like Oscar the Grouch.^[1]

When Homer was singing a song about garbage men, Oscar popped out of a trash can.^[2]

Oscar was also among the various PBS characters that chased Homer around Springfield.^[3]

Milhouse asked Dubya Spuckler if he ever wondered what happened to Oscar on garbage day.^[4]
