The '74 Oakland A's was the lineup of the major league baseball team Oakland Athletics in 1974.
History
Homer finished off painting "74 Oakland A's - Best Team Ever" on his curb in a tribute to the '74 Oakland A's. The Oakland A's then pull up in a convertible. Sal Bando and Gene Tenace were then happy to see that Homer remembered them and gave him a thank you honk.
