Metallica is a heavy metal band.

History

Otto went to see a Metallica concert in 1995 at Springfield Arena. He saved Kirk Hammet's career as he was about o quit the band until he was inspired by Otto.

In later years, Metallica's tour bus breaks down on the roadside and Otto stops the school bus to offer them a lift. Bart then drives off in the school bus. Metallica then get a lift with Hans Moleman, who used to sleep with Lars Ulrich's grandmother, or so he said. They tell Otto to never listen to their music again before driving off.
