Troy McClure's house is a futuristic residence built on top of a pole. Its interior reflected Troy’s tastes, with a master bedroom featuring a coral bed surrounded by aquariums, as well as a bean bag that he attempted to repair using a book on furniture repair.
History[edit]
After Troy and Selma became engaged, Selma moved into the house with her iguana, Jub-Jub, and Troy showed her the room prepared for her. Selma considered the residence highly modern and described it as resembling life in the near future.
Behind the Laughter[edit]
It is based on the Chemosphere, an actual house in Los Angeles, designed by architect John Lautner.
