Ernie is a mechanic at Springfield Auto Lube.
History[edit]
During the Springfield Founders Day Parade and Statue Unveiling, an animatronic statue of Jebediah Springfield was paraded through town, with voiceover from Mayor Quimby. The statue gave an advertisement for Springfield Auto Lube and said that Chuck, Ernie, and Arturo were there for you. The crowd booed the advertisement, and Arturo said to Chuck and Ernie that the ad was a bad call.
