When Mr. Burns learned that someone had let the plant pay for Dimoxinil, he said, "blast his hide to Hades".[1]
When Herb Powell learned that his new car was called Persephone, he asked what kind of name it was. The constructors told him that she was the Greek goddess of spring and rebirth and that she was carried off to Hades, where she ate six pomegranates. Herb interrupted them and said people didn't want cars named after hungry old Greeks.[2]
