History
After narrowly escaping a collapsing third-dimensional universe, Homer Simpson suddenly reappeared in the real world, landing inside a dumpster in [Los Angeles]], California. Confused by his unfamiliar surroundings, he walked along Ventura Boulevard as pedestrians stared at him before entering a bakery advertising "Erotic Cakes."
Behind the Laughter
- In real life, there is no store called Erotic Cakes on Ventura Boulevard; the shop at the location where Homer visits is called Rose Photography. The other stores seen in the background during Homer's "real-world" scene are real.
