Behind the Laughter[edit]
Tom Brokaw didn't provide the voice of the character, Harry Shearer did, although Brokaw was asked to voice himself in "Bart vs. Lisa vs. the Third Grade". This was because Brokaw liked Harry Shearer's impersonation of him.[9]
Brokaw was originally intended to be the newscaster of CNNBCBS in "Lisa's Wedding", but the scene was mistakenly animated with Kent Brockman and so Shearer rerecorded the dialogue in Brockman's voice.
