Darkham Asylum is a prison in Darkham City. It appeared in a story imagined by Marge when she thought about what life would be like if Homer was always smiling.
History[edit]
After D'ohker killed The Rich Texan, he was imprisoned in Darkham Asylum. His cell was located next to the cell of Margely Quinn. D'ohker and Margely broke out of their cells and freed every other prisoner, then escaped from the prison.
Behind the Laughter[edit]
Darkham Asylum is a parody of Arkham Asylum from DC Comics. The slogan for the prison, "It's a Mad, Mad, Madhouse!", is a reference to the 1963 comedy film It's a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World.
