During a guest appearance on The Cosby Show in 1986, Bleeding Gums Murphy listened as Bill Cosby compared jazz to New Coke, predicting that both would be around forever.[2]
New Coke appeared in an article entitled "Where Are They Now?", with Krusty the Clown, Judd Nelson and Macaulay Culkin. Krusty drank a New Coke.[3]
