Sun Moon (Korean Hangul 문선) is a Korean girl who appears as one of the three finalists of the Spellympics.
History[edit]
After making it to the finals, Sun Moon was asked to spell the sound-alike word, weather/whether. When she requested a sentence, George Plimpton gave the sentence: "I don't know whether the weather shall improve today." When she chose to spell weather, she was disqualified, since Plimpton made it certain that whichever word she chose to spell would be the incorrect one.[1]
Sun Moon was standing at the back of the customs line in Cuba's border control building.[2]
