Irish Pete[1] is an elderly immigrant from Ireland who lives in Springfield.

History

He was outside the Simpson's house on Whacking Day and confirmed that the event was just an excuse to beat up the Irish.[2]

He attended a neighborhood watch meeting.[3]

He was in the audience at Moe's Cavern for Barney's debut performance as a member of the The Be Sharps and shed a tear when Barney sang Sweet Adeline.

Behind the Laughter

The name Irish Pete is a pun on Irish peat.
