An Apple a Day is a premium questline in The Simpsons: Tapped Out. It was introduced in the Northward Bound content update. It requires Connie Appleseed to be obtained.

	Ugh, what is that terrible stench? It smells like burnt rubber.
	A–yup. That'd be the Springfield tire fire. It's got a real, musky burn goin' today. Musta hit a patch o' Uniroyals.
	Why doesn't anyone put the fire out?
	Ain't you never heard of a little thing called "civic pride"?
	Ain't you heard of a little thing called "toxic air pollution"?
	No, ma'am. Anyway, you know what they say, rubber and water don't mix.
	I think you mean oil and water.
	Is that what they say? Hey Brandine, fire up that tire what caught all that rainwater. 'Parrently we's CAN use it fer boilin'.
	This town could use a lot more apple trees to help clean up the air. Not to mention a better rainwater reclamation system. One thing at a time...

	It's no use. No matter how many apple trees I plant, the air quality of this town simply doesn't improve.
	That's probably on account of the nuclear power plant.
	But nuclear plants don't cause air pollution.
	No, but the trucks that Mr. Burns drives all around town to hide all the radioactive waste do.
	How do you know that?
	Because all the safety engineers like me just got reassigned to drive those trucks.
	That's horrible!
	Yeah, that's horrible, Carl!
	What are you talking about, Lenny? You got reassigned, too.
	gasp These glowing barrels that we're burying in the riverbed are full of nuclear waste?!
	There's only one solution to all the exhaust your trucks are spewing into the air.
	Does it involve planting apple trees?

	Can you at least drive me to the plant in your truck?
	Not until we're done burying these barrels.
